Flights & Accomodation

Flights

Khao Lak is a 70min drive from Phuket International Airport (HKT). You have several options to fly into Phuket; from budget flights to full-fare flights!

We have listed the flight schedules below. We recommend the ones in red because they are ideal for you to arrive in time, settle down and freshen up for the wedding. And the return flights late enough for you to enjoy the day in Khao Lak/Phuket but making it back in SG before midnight.

Also,  do try  http://www.cheaptickets.sg which shows combinations of flights from different carriers depending on price and timings. But it is not always cheaper than booking direct from the airlines, so beware!

Airfare Promos
At the time we are drafting this (12th Apr), there aren’t any promo fares to Phuket from these airlines yet.  We will constantly be on the trawl for the promo deals, so look out for this space! We will holler out to you good people when we hear of promos!

Airport Transfers
If enough of you come on the same flight, we are considering chartering a bus to bring everyone to Le Meridien Khao Lak. We are working on this, so stay tuned for more info.

Accommodation

Update: 12th May 2012
Make your  reservations via email to reservations.khaolak@lemeridien.com and Ekkawi.chali@lemeridien.com and copy us at jasonandfang@gmail.com too!
Remember to quote “Jason & Ashley Wedding” so that you get the $175 room rates!

Thanks to Fang’s Starwood affiliations (and of course our charming personality), we managed to get the very decent rate of SGD175++ a room a night for a deluxe room.  This is quite a steal for a 5-star hotel! The price includes buffet breakfast…where in addition to a hearty meal, you get to meet and pat the resident baby elephant (yes, the resort has its own elephant!)

Deluxe room at S$175++ a night

Meanwhile, we found a smaller resort/chalet 5min walk from the Le Meridien that would likely be cheaper. Stay tuned for details!
